Responsibilities:
• Reviewing overall manufacturability of all new parts coming out of design;
• Reviewing the preliminary, intermediate, and final tool designs;
• Traveling to tooling vendors for onsite follow up and tool tryouts;
• Updating tool/design standards to reflect production issues;
• Participating in Continuous Improvement activities;
• Staying current on state of the art tooling and processes.
• 2+ years of related experience with a 4-year degree in Engineering, Industrial Technology, or related disciplines;
• 4+ years of related experience with 2-year degree in tool and die technology;
• Must have experience in injection molding;
• Analytical, problem-solving, organizational and Project Management skills;
• Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office applications;
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
