Responsibilities:
• Participating in projects to maintain, upgrade and modify heavy industrial machinery;
• Preparing modifications to original drawings and new designs, evaluating effectiveness and accuracy;
• Troubleshooting electrical maintenance problems including drives, PLCs, HMIs and software;
• Designing and utilizing computer programs and network technologies;
• Identifying change opportunities and selecting new technologies.
• Internship or more experience in electrical engineering in a manufacturing environment;
• Leadership and Project Management experience are a plus;
• Any experience or training in PLCs, hydraulics, pneumatics, piping, electrical control design, AC and DC drive control, SCR drives, HMI, high voltage equipment, machine diagnostics, rolling mills, metal working or heavy industry;
• Excellent communication skills.
